birds’re cool!

Image My passion for birds began when I read Natalia Atamas’ book Birds in a City, and after that, my birdwatching journey began. I remember very well that it was a beginning of summer and I would wake up at five in a morning to go to a park and look at a birds. I spent a long time memorizing their names and singing (it bothered me a lot that I couldn’t distinguish birds by their singing).

It’s hard for me to say if I have a favorite bird, but most of the time I’m impressed by song birds.

Image At some point in my life, I wanted to label all my friends as birds on my phone. I can’t even explain what criteria I use to understand which bird is which, but I don’t care!

For example: I am bullfinch, and my friends are drongo, goldfinch, fan-tailed warbler, diving duck, two cockatoos, etc.
